Permission
Back in August-September 2013, we asked permission from the author of The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, Nam Hee Sung, to translate his work to English, and we were officially granted permission to translate up to Volume 20.However, when we got close to Volume 20 back in March-April 2014, we asked for his blessing again to translate past Volume 20, he told us that his management and/or publisher told him that they were going to try and get his work published in English and get it released as an E-book or Kindle, and if nothing comes to fruition in 1-2 years, we will have his permission to translate the rest of the Volumes.
After a couple of years had past, the translation continued on. However, the author has signed with another publisher, Kakao. Since the company is trying to break through the international market, they have asked RainbowTurtle to stop translating when she got to Volume 48.
Moonlight Sculptor scheduled to end with Volume 58 as its last.
Fulfilling Requests
- We separated the chapters into each post instead of one volume in one post.
- We have also tried our best to consolidate certain names such as Ahrupen/Aruphen to Arpen.
- Since some links no longer existed, we recoded and posted Volumes 1 to 27.
- If the translators of these Volumes (21 to 27) would like for us to remove them, please contact us.
